YLE Common European Framework A1 - A2 Young Learners English (Starters, Movers, Flyers) Young Learners English (YLE) is a reliable and consistent measure of how well your child is doing in the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. There are three levels for children to work through, Starters, Movers and Flyers, with Starters being the first, aimed at young children with very basic skills.

KET/ KET for Schools Common European Framework A2 Key English Test This is an elementary level exam and a language user at this level can handle basic enquiries relate to contexts they are familiar with. KET and KET for Schools follow exactly the same format and the level of the question papers is identical. The only difference is that the content and treatment of topics in KET for Schools have been particularly targeted at the interests and experience of school students.

PET/ PET for Schools Common European Framework B1 Preliminary English Test This is an intermediate level exam and a language user at this level should be able to cope linguistically in a range of everyday situations of a straightforward, non-specialised nature. PET and PET for schools follow exactly the same format and the level of the question papers is identical. The only difference is that the content and treatment of topics in KET for Schools have been particularly targeted at the interests and experience of school students.

FCE Common European Framework B2 First Certificate in English This is an upper intermediate level exam and it is an ideal exam for people who want to use English for work or study purposes. FCE has been updated recently and a new revision guide is available from Cambridge ESOL website.

CAE Common European Framework C1 Certificate Advanced English This is an advanced level exam and aimed at people who can use written and spoken English for most professional and social purposes. It is widely recognised for work or study purposes. CAE has been updated recently and a new revision guide is available from Cambridge ESOL website.

CPE Common European Framework C2 Certificate of Proficiency in English This is a very advanced level exam for learners who have achieved a high level of language skills and are able to function effectively in almost any English-speaking context.

IELTS Common European Framework A2 - C2 International English Language Testing System IELTS is an examination for people who need to demonstrate their level of achievement in English for a specific purpose. IELTS scores are recognized by universities and colleges in the UK, USA and many other countries and by employers, immigration authorities, and professional bodies as evidence of English language skills. TKT Common European Framework B1 Teaching Knowledge Test The Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) is a test about teaching English to speakers of other languages. CELTA Common European Framework C1 - C2 Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults CELTA is an initial qualification for people with little or no previous teaching experience and opens up a whole world of exciting teaching opportunities.
